How ASU standardized campus wayfinding at one-third the cost.

The challenge. Arizona State runs one of the largest, busiest campuses in the country, where pedestrians, cyclists, and scooters share the same paths all day. The stenciled and painted sidewalk graphics ASU relied on wore out fast, were expensive to redo, and forced walkways to close every time they were repainted.

The Sole Images solution. We replaced them with conforming, high-contrast floor decals applied with no heat and no chemicals. They bond to textured campus concrete and stay legible under constant foot and wheel traffic. Shared-path graphics separate walkers from bikes and scooters; branded walk-only zones keep the busiest corridors clear — every install laid out and applied on-site by the Sole Images crew.

The result.ASU standardized on Sole Images decals and, by their own determination, did it at one-third the cost of the stenciled graphics they replaced — with no campus downtime during installation and durability that holds up across the school year.

It is the same durability Sole Images has delivered since 1978. Over 40-plus years, our veteran-owned team has marked floors for Sony, Panasonic, BMW, PetSmart, and Boeing — and today that industrial-grade know-how is what makes campus and city wayfinding last.
